Teamfight Tactics Season 7 has been out for a while, including on the PBE test server. On June 9th (Vietnam time), this new season of the game mode officially arrived for the gaming community. There haven’t been many changes since its appearance on the PBE server, and the community now has a more comprehensive overview of the new season named Dragon World.

Among these, the composition revolving around the champion Olaf is very popular because it meets the criteria of being “good – nutritious – affordable” among the gaming community. It can be said that with this 3-cost champion, even those with higher cost and level will need to be cautious.

Overview and Operation
The composition centered around Olaf does not need to strive to roll to higher levels and does not depend on the newly released 8 – 10 cost champions. However, since he is a 3-cost champion, the items and Augments for this composition must be as optimal as possible. Additionally, players will need to roll wisely to get Olaf to the highest level possible as soon as possible.
In the early game, if you are lucky enough to get Olaf early, players should quickly build the team. If not, it’s necessary to balance between tank and damage champions to avoid unnecessary health loss at this stage. Because when other players have strong champions by the end of the game, the battlefield will be very unpredictable.

Moving into the mid-game, if you want to play Olaf, players need to have at least 2 Olaf 2-star between the middle of round 3 and the middle of round 4. If you feel that you cannot reach Olaf 3-star before the last Augment selection round, it is advisable to quickly pivot the composition. Also, keep an eye on items to consider switching the composition accordingly.

By the end of the match, the best Olaf composition will prioritize the two main traits as Berserker – Warrior. Other champions also need to be flexible, but since Olaf can somewhat take on the tanker role, the focus should be on burst damage and control abilities. The level 8 composition should be: Olaf (3-star) – Xayah – Hecarim – Shen – Thresh – Diana – Pyke – Nunu & Willump.

Strengths and Weaknesses
The strength of this composition lies in the ability for players to build their team early and reach a power threshold quickly. The composition also does not rely on expensive champions and is quite easy to upgrade stars. Additionally, Olaf’s ability to charge in will help players optimize a position typically reserved for a tanker.
However, the biggest weakness of this composition is the need for suitable items to maximize Olaf’s effectiveness. Second, it is essential to upgrade this champion to 3 stars to be effective by the end of the match. Moreover, this composition is currently proving quite effective, making it easy to be contested in ranked matches of the new season.
