Revealing Faker’s 2025 Worlds skin requests that even Riot found challenging
Responding to the anticipation from the League of Legends community, Riot officially teased the 2025 Worlds skin line for T1. Beyond celebrating the championship of the most storied team in LoL, this skin line holds special meaning for many. First, it marks their third consecutive championship, and second, it will be Gumayusi’s final skin as a T1 member. Among the players, Faker arguably contributed the most input for his skin.

It was revealed that Faker emphasized T1’s signature yellow and wanted Galio filled with iconic details from wing to tail. Riot completely redesigned Galio’s wings, replacing the original structure with a unique wing design inspired by the T1 logo.
Additionally, special lighting and shadow effects were added to make Galio appear as if standing under stage lights when viewed from above. However, when Faker suggested expanding the background space even further, Riot was unable to accommodate due to the need to maintain in-game effect visibility.

Faker’s T1 skin is considered the most spectacular
Among the 2025 Worlds skins, Galio’s effects are regarded as the most impressive and grand. In the splash art for the entire skin line, Galio is depicted as a god-like figure with the other four champions representing the respective players as his guardians. It’s clear Riot invested heavily in this skin line, especially for Faker’s position — the soul of T1 and the G.O.A.T of the LoL scene.
