In addition to the race designed specifically for rerolling like Dragonmancer, Teamfight Tactics Season 7 still has many team comps that operate this way. Among them, Ezreal is currently emerging as one of the extremely strong carries with the tribe – system significantly increasing attack speed, including Ranger and Storm Dragon. Therefore, Ezreal quickly became a very hot name in reroll team compositions in the current meta. So how can we best utilize this unit? Let’s find out.
One thing you need to know is that in Season 7, Ezreal has had a slight change in skill as Mystic Shot now deals magic damage and interacts with ability power damage stats. Therefore, pure AD items are not very useful for Ezreal in Season 7. Instead, powerful magic damage items like Archangel’s Staff or items that deal magic damage on hit like Statikk Shiv will be more suitable for Ezreal.
In terms of building the team comp, you should start with 1-cost champions that provide good tankiness along with Ezreal at the backline. Usable names would be the duo of Tahm Kench – Skarner or Leona – Taric. The Guardian duo is recommended since you can activate an additional 3 Dragonmancer threshold in the mid-game by adding Ashe and Karma.
Like any other reroll composition, you will not level up in the early stages of the game. This will help players at levels 4-5 stay as long as possible to maximize the appearance rate of 1-cost champions (Ezreal, Leona, Taric…) and upgrade them to 3 stars. You can even “all-in” your gold to look for a 3-star Ezreal early on to gain an advantage in champion level over your opponents.
Besides the 5 units in the above composition, in the late game, you should add Lee Sin and Shi Oh Yu as soon as possible. These are 2 units with crowd control capabilities and extremely effective damage output to create space for the carry to deal damage. Additionally, Shi Oh Yu will help you reach the 6 Dragonmancer threshold and provide a large amount of attack speed and healing for the team. If you can’t find Shi Oh Yu, you can bring in Ornn and Qiyana to activate the 4 Storm Dragon threshold.
Regarding the technology cores, the most valuable upgrade for Ezreal is Blue Energy or Elemental Cycle. They will provide this unit with a huge amount of mana to continuously cast spells and maximize damage. Additionally, you can also choose cores that enhance the strength of the Dragonmancer tribe to make them more resilient. The Storm Dragon emblem is also a good choice to activate an additional 4 units without needing to invest in Qiyana.
For item builds, Ezreal reroll will have 2 main builds based on Statikk Shiv and Blue Buff. With Statikk Shiv, you will combine it with Guinsoo’s Rageblade to take advantage of its high attack speed to deal area damage. For Blue Buff, 2 critical items including Archangel’s Staff and Infinity Edge will optimize the damage for Ezreal’s abilities.
