As of now, Teamfight Tactics Season 9 has passed nearly half its journey. This is also one of the seasons with many exciting innovations that players highly appreciate. One of the special features is the introduction of the Legend mechanism – where players can choose suitable supportive elements according to their preferences. These Legends will directly affect the selection of Tech Cores, and each Legend has its own advantages and disadvantages.
Of course, this comes with strong and effective compositions favored by players. With special mechanics, along with evenly distributed power across all lanes and lasting from the beginning to the end of the match, the Butcher composition is one of the names being widely used currently and ensures effective rank climbing. And when combined with Demacia, this will be a composition that guarantees comprehensive offense and defense.
Overview and Operation
Demacia will provide players with suitable Light equipment, which will be a significant power boost for the champion costing only 1 gold – Kayle. Additionally, the durability of Galio combined with the control from Jarvan IV will help players ensure a sufficiently strong front line. Furthermore, Kayle will also be a very good carry in the Butcher composition when effectively combined with currently strong names like Zed, Gwen, or Aatrox.
With this composition, players need the best equipment as Kayle, Zed, or Katarina only cost between 1 to 3 gold. Additionally, the Legends that can be used in this match include Aurelion Sol, Ornn, or Lee Sin, Ezreal.
In the early game, players may already possess key carries like Kayle and Zed. If lucky enough to obtain Gwen early (thanks to a core that provides a random 4-cost champion), gamers will ensure a strong composition from the start to the end of the match. This composition does not need to be upgraded too quickly but requires players to rotate the Shop to get Kayle to 3 stars as soon as possible.
By the mid-game, Katarina and Kled will be suitable names to include in the composition. The damage from Katarina and Gwen combined with the magic resistance reduction from Kayle’s Shock Blade will ensure the opponent’s composition is cleared as quickly as possible. Additionally, Shen and Sett will also be necessary to enhance the defense of this composition.
In the late game, players can complete the composition by replacing Garen with Jarvan IV and adding Aatrox and Sion (if there are enough Tactical Crowns). The complete composition at level 8 includes: Kayle – Katarina – Zed – Shen – Gwen – Jarvan IV – Galio – Aatrox. Additional Kled and Sion can be included if there are Crowns to activate Noxus and 5 Butchers.
Strengths and Weaknesses
This composition requires proper equipment and quick rotation in the Shop to get the desired champions. Furthermore, players must also choose the appropriate Tech Cores to avoid having many champions but unable to upgrade them. Additionally, this composition is currently highly contested, so players need to have alternative strategies in case they do not have enough suitable champions.
