The AoE China-Vietnam 2025 tournament will take place from April 18, 2025, to April 27, 2025, in Pingxiang City, Jiangxi Province, China, featuring 5 competitive events all in the Ranged Archers category, including: Solo Shang, Solo Assyrian, 2vs2 Shang, 2vs2 Assyrian, and 3vs3 Shang.
The organizing unit remains the familiar name: the Roman Association – one of the largest officially recognized organizations in the AoE community in China. The Roman Association has also organized the AoE China-Vietnam tournaments continuously from 2011 to 2019.
The total prize value for the AoE China-Vietnam 2025 tournament reaches 250,000 Renminbi (approximately 885,000,000 VND), of which the image rights value is 116,000 Renminbi (approximately 410,000,000 VND) and is held by Thien Khoi Esports.

After six years since the last event in Shenzhen (2019), AoE fans will once again have the chance to relive the passionate atmosphere of a China-Vietnam AoE tournament. And nothing would be more meaningful if AoE Vietnam could once again surpass their rivals right in their “home ground”.

A Tough Playground and Challenge for AoE Vietnam
No Random mode will be included in the matches, making this year’s tournament clearly a “playground of expertise” for Chinese gamers. The Ranged Archers category has been nurtured by the Chinese AoE community for decades, with veteran players such as Shenlong, Xiao Shuilong, Jian Ruyu, and experts like Do Thanh, Dua Chua, and Ngach Han, whose skills in Ranged Archers, age advancement, and military development are deeply ingrained in their gameplay.
Not only do they have the upper hand in their strong categories, but the Chinese team also enjoys several other objective advantages such as location, time zone, weather, and stable health due to not having to travel far. In contrast, the Vietnamese team will need to quickly adapt to the competition conditions and prepare a strong mindset to face a host nation that is “wounded in pride”.

AoE Vietnam Team: Determined to Create a New Miracle
Despite numerous challenges, AoE Vietnam has organized many rigorous selection rounds to identify and bring to China a lineup featuring the most elite names from professional clans like VEC, EGO Media, Thien Khoi Esports, and semi-professional clans like MaxR. Specifically, they include Bibi, Hoang Mai Nhi, Tinh Van from VEC; ChipBoy, Kamachi, Long Le, Yugi from EGO Media; Cam Quit, 2k1 Bac Ninh, Xiao Man Tou, Sang Club, Mai Co Ty, Gio from Thien Khoi Esports, and finally, De from the semi-professional clan MaxR.
Many names on the list above are current champions at the AoE Vietnam-China 2024 tournament in the very events that will be contested this time. This includes 2k1 Bac Ninh in the Solo Ranged Archers Shang event; EGO ChipBoy in the Solo Ranged Archers Assyrian event; EGO Long Le and VEC Tinh Van in the 2vs2 Ranged Archers Shang event, and EGO ChipBoy in the 2vs2 Ranged Archers Assyrian event.
With quick maneuvers, proactive gameplay, and especially their signature “E” skill – a strength that often makes the difference in clashes, the AoE Vietnam team will be ready to compete fairly with any opponent. The meticulous preparation from practice, strategy to logistics (entry, travel, accommodation) has been planned early by the managing units, creating a solid foundation for Vietnam to conquer the tournament.
The most important emotional support will undoubtedly be the accompaniment and encouragement from fans back home – those hearts that always burn with passion for AoE and belief in a new generation of highly potential gamers.
