On April 6, the publisher VNG officially launched the famous 5v5 tactical FPS game VALORANT in Vietnam. To prepare for the Esports roadmap of VALORANT, VNG also decided to open registration for the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: Vietnam Challengers Stage 2 tournament starting March 26, aiming to find outstanding teams to compete for the national championship and opportunities to compete on international stages.
After the registration phase, the tournament organizers have identified 32 VALORANT teams to enter the qualifiers, which will take place from April 9 to April 16, 2021. Notable names include Steal Your Glory (SYG), DXG, and Cerberus Esports. According to the regulations, teams will compete in a BO3 Double Elimination format (winners and losers brackets). Additionally, all players must be 18 years or older and will compete online at three locations: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang.

– Hanoi: Vikings Ha Dong, MAC Plaza Shopping Center, 5th Floor, 10 Tran Phu, Mo Lao Ward, Ha Dong
– Ho Chi Minh City: Kingdom Nextgen Ky Hoa, Alley 796 Su Van Hanh, Ward 12, District 10
– Da Nang: Ngạo Mõ Trần Tống, 26 Trần Tống, Thạc Gián, Thanh Khê
The 12 VALORANT teams with the best results after the qualifiers will qualify for the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: Vietnam Challengers Stage 2 Finals, with a total prize pool of up to 530 million VND. Here, teams will compete for the national championship title and the opportunity to represent the Vietnam region at the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: SEA Challengers Stage 2.
