An LPL Team Has Officially “Disappeared” During the Transfer Window
For many years, LPL teams have faced numerous challenges in maintaining their operations, especially as the region has declined and come up empty-handed at the World Championship for several years. Recently, after a prolonged period of being at risk, an LPL team has officially “disappeared” during the 2024 end-of-season transfer window. That team is Rare Atom.

According to the latest announcement from LPL, RA will not participate in either LPL or LDL, and their slot will now be managed by LPL until another team emerges. This is not too surprising. After four years of existence, RA’s best achievement was a 3rd place finish in the LPL Summer Split 2021. This is a rather poor record and has not left a significant impression on the audience.
Many viewers admit that these departures might be necessary. The LPL currently has more teams than any other region in the world. And during periods when League of Legends undergoes changes in tournament formats, having fewer teams in LPL could help them adapt more easily.

The Transfer Window Is Ongoing, But One LCK Superstar Remains “Silent”
As for LCK, many fans, especially T1 supporters, are eagerly awaiting the future of the remaining player in the lineup, Zeus. With Gumayusi officially extending his contract with T1 for another year, Zeus is the only one whose future remains uncertain in this transfer window.
However, experts believe that the chances of Zeus leaving are nearly impossible. T1 holds many advantages, from the stature of the team to meeting needs such as salary and the ability to compete for titles. Perhaps the announcement regarding Zeus is simply that T1 is waiting for confirmation from all parties before making it public to the audience.

Currently, the end-of-season transfer market has just begun. And it’s possible that in the coming time, many blockbuster deals will continue to explode across major and minor regions worldwide, with LCK and LPL likely being the most notable. For Vietnamese fans, this also includes VCS.
