The top prospect of North American LoL compared to Zeros
In the history of League of Legends, there have been many players and KOLs who have faced consequences due to their thoughtless statements. Mild cases lead to criticism and condemnation, while severe cases can impact entire careers. A notable example is Zeros, who received a Global Ban from Riot due to a controversial comment during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, it seems that Zeros’ incident may not be well-known enough for Bwipo, a Top Laner, to feel the need to be cautious with his words.

As previously reported, a few days ago, Bwipo shared his thoughts on women’s sensitivity and stated that girls, at this time, cannot play professional Esports. According to his initial comments, he aimed to highlight that Riot does not provide adequate support, while the environment in League of Legends is full of stress and toxicity.
However, Bwipo’s straightforwardness, according to several well-known KOLs in the League of Legends community, was inappropriate and could further deepen the existing gender conflict in Esports. Of course, this slip of the tongue immediately resulted in Bwipo being suspended by FlyQuest amidst their upcoming LTA playoff matches.

Many prominent names in the League of Legends community, including males like Azazel and Doublelift, also could not agree with Bwipo. The former TSM star even remarked that Bwipo is rapidly “self-destructing,” while VCS viewers compared this slip of the tongue to Zeros’. The only difference is that Bwipo may not receive a Global Ban like the former SE star did years ago.

The future of Bwipo remains uncertain whether he will follow Zeros’ path
The talent of FlyQuest’s player is undeniable. However, Bwipo is also known for many toxic comments during streams or directed at opponents. This is not the first time he has been punished for “slips of the tongue” in his career. But currently, Riot has not made any statements, and it is likely that he will only face penalties similar to those he has received before.
