Arena of Valor Premier League (APL): Arena of Valor
One of the most anticipated tournaments at the end of 2022 is definitely APL 2022. This is an international tournament held offline on a grand stage by Garena Arena of Valor. After a 3-year hiatus, APL 2022 promises to deliver top-tier matches from the world’s leading teams.

After 3 years, APL 2022 returns and will be held in Ho Chi Minh City this November. The tournament features 12 top teams from Đấu Trường Danh Vọng (AOG – Vietnam), AOV Star League (ASL – Indonesia), Garena Challenger Series (GCS – Taiwan), and ROV Pro League (RPL – Thailand), with each region sending 3 representatives to compete for the APL 2022 world championship. The three Vietnamese teams competing include Saigon Phantom, BOX Gaming, and V Gaming.



It is known that APL 2022 has a total prize pool of $1,000,000, with the champion receiving $400,000 and the runner-up taking home $200,000. The massive prize money makes APL 2022 even more attractive to both the participating teams and the audience.

World Championship 2022: League of Legends
The most exciting tournament towards the end of this year is surely the World Championship 2022. The highest-level tournament of the game League of Legends always attracts a large number of fans and participating teams. Despite being a long-standing tournament in the esports scene, the World Championship has never lost its appeal; the championship trophy remains the goal and desire for any League of Legends player.

This season, two Vietnamese representatives participating are Saigon Buffalo and GAM Esports. Although they had to exit early, the teams had a memorable World Championship experience, especially GAM, who had a thrilling victory over TES before officially departing.

Currently, the World Championship is preparing to enter the semifinals with four outstanding teams: JDG, T1, GEN, and DRX. The two semifinals will take place on October 30 and 31, with the finals scheduled for November 6. This thrilling tournament promises to deliver high-octane battles that will captivate the audience.
Free Fire World Series 2022 (FFWS): Free Fire
FFWS 2022 is the most prestigious international Free Fire tournament of the year and is considered the world championship for this game. Here, top teams will gather to compete for the Free Fire world championship title, in addition to a massive prize pool.

This year’s FFWS 2022 will take place in November in Thailand. The two Vietnamese representatives qualifying for this tournament are Team Flash and HQ Esports – the champions of VFL Spring and Summer 2022. Here, they will face off against top competitors from around the world. It is hoped that with stable performance and fighting spirit, the players will bring glory to Free Fire Vietnam on the international stage.
PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2022 (PMGC): PUBG Mobile
The PMGC 2022 World Finals is expected to be held in November, and this year, Vietnam has two teams qualifying: BOX Gaming and D’Xavier. Recently, the results of the group draw showed that BOX is in Group Red (Group A), while D’Xavier will compete in Group Yellow (Group C).

Entering the highest-level tournament of PUBG Mobile, the Vietnamese players will have to face top competitors from around the world. The pressure and challenges are higher, but the opportunities are also greater for both teams as they compete in the most professional international tournament, promising to elevate PUBG Mobile Vietnam to a global level.
The International 2022: Dota 2
The International is the world championship for Dota 2, and with its massive prize pool, TI always attracts a lot of attention from the global gaming community.

The International 2022 is being held in Singapore this year, promising to continue the values and sportsmanship that previous seasons have brought. Currently, the tournament is preparing to enter the finals, which will take place on October 29-30.
