TFT Season 10: Climbing Ranks Rapidly with the Seraphine – Vanguard Composition Dominating Tournaments

Seraphine as the main carry proves to be incredibly powerful, not just a simple "synergy unit" as usual.

The Annoyance of Seraphine – Vanguard

With the K/DA trait, TFT players often aim for extremely powerful 4-cost carries like Ahri or Akali to ensure late-game damage. However, this inadvertently overlooks the potential of a very annoying carry unit, Seraphine. This champion has both damage and wide-area healing abilities. When combined with a sufficiently resilient front line, Seraphine will help them withstand fights exceptionally well.

From this idea, the Seraphine – Vanguard composition was born and has been successfully used by many top players recently. In fact, player Nosterelven recently used this composition to achieve numerous victories at the Heartsteel Cup. Therefore, the Seraphine – Vanguard composition has been dubbed the “star” of this tournament.

Building the Seraphine – Vanguard Composition

Players should start with a solid framework featuring Kennen and Lillia as key champions. Next, for the backline damage position, Annie is a great choice due to her low cost and ability to hold good items for Seraphine. Additionally, K’Sante is also a good option in the front line to activate the 2 Vanguard trait early with Lillia.

By level 6, players will sell the previous Superstar champion and begin the reroll process to find and upgrade Seraphine to 3 stars. Players should prioritize choosing K/DA Superstars to have 5 units with high health and AP stats. Additionally, the Sorcerer Superstar is also a decent choice as it helps easily activate the 3 unit trait.

In the late game, players will aim for tanky Vanguard champions like Blitzcrank and Mordekaiser. Moreover, Ahri is a fantastic addition at this stage to boost the damage of the composition. If players can reach level 9, they should include Sona in the composition to enhance the healing capabilities of the entire team.

Items and Augments

With the Wizard’s Hat provided by the Solid Fan, players will aim for versatile items when crafting gear for Seraphine. Morello’s Evil Tome, Nashor’s Fang, or Shojin’s Spear are all excellent choices for this champion. For the Augment choice, upgrading Spell Thief or Learning to Cast Spells are both very suitable for Seraphine and the K/DA composition.
