For those who may not know, the streamer named Bebe872 has recently gained significant fame in the global “player” community. Aside from achieving top 1 in several strategy games like Dota Underlords and Hearthstone Battlegrounds, this streamer has also reached the Challenger rank in Teamfight Tactics on both the Korean and North American servers. Right after securing the top 1 position in North America within just 11 days, this guy shared some extremely useful insights from his rapid rank climbing journey:

Leveling up and rolling: This is especially important at levels 7 and 8. Generally, if you have a winning streak and are using a strong composition, you should save gold and level up. In other cases, if you’re in the middle of the pack and want to avoid dropping out of the top 4, you should all-in on rolling to find enough 2-star champions. Unless you need 4-cost champions, this is the most effective strategy. Roll the most with the Cybernetic composition (Vayne, Vi or Riven, Ezreal, Irelia) or the Mystical Vanguard (Cassiopeia and Jayce).
When should you commit to a main composition? – When you find a carry with strong items.
When is it too late to pivot your strategy? – Only when you have 0 health or 0 gold.

Ranged champions in this meta are quite weak, try to steer clear of that composition.
What should you pick during the shopping phase? – It depends on the composition you want to build. For instance: If playing Cybernetic -> pick up a Wooden Bow, Crit Gloves, BF Sword. If playing Sorcerers -> pick up Tear of the Goddess and Giant’s Staff,…
When should you combine and use items? – When you want your composition to be stronger, meaning you want to win the next round to retain health or maintain a winning streak. So if you don’t need to win, you shouldn’t combine items early.

The strongest early items: Luden’s Echo, Storm Bow, Thornmail, Red Buff, Morello’s Evil Tome. Because these items deal significant damage early in the game.
Which item is currently underrated? – Luden’s Echo. Why? – This item can demolish Vanguard with its area damage. Although I recommend waiting to combine items like Sorcerer’s Hat, Evil Tome, Blue Buff, Luden’s Echo is extremely powerful early on.

What to play when you have all defensive items? – Your top priority should be to play Guardians. The second option is Cybernetic, and lastly, Pilots.
How should you position your champions? – Continuously check the enemy’s board and pay attention to the positions of Assassins, Blitzcrank, Vi, Ranged champions (Caitlyn and Ashe), Blade Master, Gnar, Static Cloak, Urgot.
Why should you check Vi’s position? Vi hits the furthest target for her -> Place a less important champion for Vi to hit. For example, if you have Ezreal and Jinx, Jinx is more important, so make sure Ezreal is positioned to be hit by Vi.

Is Viktor strong? – Viktor is extremely strong; with just 2 items, he can one-shot the enemy team without needing to activate Sorcerer. However, Viktor performs poorly against Vayne.
How to counter Ekko? – You can equip a Zeke’s Herald on a tank champion, and Ekko will continuously target that champion.
What’s the pace of games in Challenger rank? – Everyone aims for the top 4, meaning everyone is combining items very early to retain at least 1-2 health. Roll a lot to avoid losing health. Mid-game compositions will be used far more than late-game compositions.
Many people mistakenly believe that ranking up with the strongest compositions is the fastest way. I don’t care much about the strongest compositions because they depend on many factors like items, needing to roll, and other elements. So I play any composition I can, from Pilots, Duelists, Mystical Vanguard, Urgot + Aurelion Sol + Guardians,…

One thing I recently discovered in North America a few days ago is that Master Yi is extremely powerful with Runaan’s Hurricane. With this item, Yi can deal true damage to 2 targets simultaneously, which is very powerful. I dislike Guinsoo’s Rageblade because it doesn’t help Yi much. With Runaan’s Hurricane, Yi becomes a “sacred blade.”
Another thing I learned in North America is that Rumble is super strong when combined with Ziggs. Many people underestimate Rumble, but this champion has a lot of damage, possesses Deep Wounds, and is a quality “item holder” for Riven or Gangplank.
Who is Justice’s Fist strong with? Many champions like Yasuo, Jinx, Lucian,… there are many.

How to counter Jinx? – Become stronger than Jinx. (:D)
What’s the difference between the Korean and North American ranks? – Challenger in Korea usually only saves 20 or 30 gold for interest; it’s rare for anyone to hold 50 gold. Meanwhile, North American Challengers always have 40-50 gold for interest.
When should you play Pilots? When you have a Giant Slayer and have Fizz early.
Is Shadow still strong? – I haven’t seen Shadow compositions since the mid-season update.

How should you use Neeko’s item? – There are a few ways: use it on a 3-cost champion early like Master Yi, Cassiopeia, Rumble,… to gain an early winning streak and retain health. Or use it on a 4-cost champion like Riven or Jinx -> you will become very strong in the mid-game and have a better chance in the late game. But if so, you need to ensure that your early-game composition is not too weak. Lastly, if you use it on a 5-cost champion, it means you want to have the strongest late-game composition with the ambition of taking top 1.
