Yasuo – Gauntlet of Strength (both standard and Dark)
If you have played a composition revolving around Vayne, you may know that Gauntlet of Strength (both standard and Dark) has the ability to deal critical damage with true damage skills. This effect is incredibly strong and helps players quickly eliminate the enemy’s frontline. With Vayne having been heavily nerfed in patch 11.10, Yasuo has emerged as a champion that effectively utilizes Gauntlet of Strength in Teamfight Tactics.

Not only does it increase the damage of Yasuo’s Fire Sword skill, but the true damage on Yasuo’s basic attacks is also enhanced by Gauntlet of Strength. Even when using the Infinity Gauntlet, Yasuo doesn’t lose too much health thanks to the strong healing from Justice Fist and the Legion effect. If you pursue a Spirit Mage – Legion composition with Yasuo as the main carry, Gauntlet of Strength or Infinity Gauntlet is an essential damage item.
Hecarim – Dark Lightning Bow and Revenge Power
With strong healing from the Soul Reaver ability, Hecarim is an incredibly durable tank in the mid-game. Beyond being “beefy,” Hecarim can also become a very strong carry if players can combine the duo of Dark Lightning Bow and Revenge Power. Stat-wise, these two items provide a significant amount of armor and magic resistance, so you can rest assured that Hecarim will still maintain his tankiness.

The unique point here is that Dark Lightning Bow will zap enemies and accumulate Ability Power for Hecarim whenever an enemy champion uses a skill. This allows Hecarim’s Soul Reaver ability to heal a significant amount of health over time, and this champion will be able to endure a massive amount of damage. At that point, Revenge Power will amplify Hecarim’s damage potential significantly after the skill’s effect expires. In summary, these 2 items allow Hecarim to be both tanky and deal great damage.
Ryze – 2 Bloodthirsty Swords and Dark Blue Buff
With the Undying trait, Ryze will receive a lot of ability damage when equipped with items like Bloodthirsty Sword or Dark Blue Buff. However, the most unique aspect of this item build is that it helps Ryze drop below 50% health right at the beginning of the round. At that point, Ryze can cast spells and continuously stun the enemy team with the 50 energy recovery effect of the Dark Blue Buff.

The downside of this item build is that you won’t be able to utilize the lifesteal stats of the 2 Bloodthirsty Swords. Additionally, you need 2 B.F. Swords, an item that is highly contested, to assemble this item build. Therefore, the chance of Ryze obtaining these “dream” items is relatively low. You should only apply this build if you have already assembled Bloodthirsty Swords but need to pivot due to not being able to upgrade your carry. As for Ryze, this champion still has enough strength with just 1 Dark Blue Buff.
