6 Assassins
In the context where everyone is chasing after 4-cost carries, the Assassin composition stands out as a very strong counter. Alongside immense damage, being able to roll at level 7 to upgrade Katarina, LeBlanc, or Nocturne will help players easily defeat other competitors. This is also a great condition for Teamfight Tactics players to gain a significant health advantage before reaching the late game.
After upgrading your carries and achieving a long winning streak, you should aim for the 6 Assassins threshold at level 8 to compete for the top 1 position. With the ability to break enemy formations, Diana makes it easy for the Assassin composition to reach and take down important pieces of the opposing team. Furthermore, Viego’s ability to control and possess enemy champions will give players significant spikes in damage. It would be fantastic if you could acquire strong carries like Draven or Mordekaiser from your opponents.
4 Sorcerers
With the current meta rolling at level 7, chasing after strong 4-cost carries is an extremely risky playstyle. If you choose to roll at level 8, it’s advisable to aim for Sorcerer units. Essentially, Ivern and Karma are not heavily contested, allowing you to acquire them relatively easily. Additionally, the attack speed reduction effect from Teemo’s ability is a very effective counter against compositions that deal significant physical damage.
For the frontline, you can choose Knight or Brawler units to shield the Sorcerer units that deal damage. The best-case scenario is rolling Garen or Volibear. If you don’t have those units, you can use Gragas, Nunu & Willump, or Thresh, Leona… to take on the tank role. Players should combine items like Ionic Spark and Zz’Rot Portal for frontline units to buy time and support Sorcerer pieces dealing damage.
Yasuo – Soulbound
This composition is very suitable for the level 7 roll meta since key units in the mid-game like Yasuo, Trundle, or Pantheon are not too expensive. Therefore, you can easily upgrade these units to 2 stars early on and reach an incredibly powerful level in the mid-game. With Pantheon’s strong tankiness and Yasuo’s immense damage, players can be assured that this composition will lead to an extremely long winning streak.
Regarding the item build for this composition, you need to combine the Redemption Chain for Pantheon as soon as possible. This will make your composition much sturdier than normal. For Yasuo, you can build Rapid Firecannon and Guardian Angel (both regular and dark versions) to ensure he deals damage from a safe distance. For the third item, Infinity Edge or Runaan’s Hurricane are both strong items you can build.
