Composition “7 – 2”
It gets its name because this composition will have 7 trait levels activated at the lowest frame (2 champions) including Academy, Guardian, Mecha, Sorcerer, Enforcer, Scholar, and Marksman. Notably, despite activating many traits like this, this composition does not rely on the Hextech Augment to provide emblems and only needs to reach level 8 for players to complete the composition. The only requirement for the “7 – 2” composition is to have the right items and champions at the right time.

This composition can also be seen as having strength at a nearly perfect level when the main damage dealers are 4-cost champions (Jhin, Orianna) and 5-cost champions (Jayce). However, since it requires mostly 3-cost champions or higher, with Caitlyn being the lowest cost, this composition demands players to level up quickly and maintain their economy at a certain level. However, if executed well, this will be a composition that has high damage, healing, and excellent multi-target control.
The complete composition includes: Leona – Braum – Orianna – Janna – Jhin – Jayce – Yuumi – Caitlyn. The win rate of the “7 – 2” composition is currently 60.9%, with an 18.5% chance of reaching the top 1.

Gang – Assassin Composition
Being one of the compositions that can “stand on its own,” without needing to worry about combining with other traits, the Gang composition was heavily nerfed at the beginning of Season 6. Champions like Darius and Zyra no longer have a place, while Shaco and Akali are only strong when combined with Assassins or other playstyles. However, since patch 12.1, Gang has been buffed back and immediately, this once highly-rated playstyle made a spectacular comeback, climbing straight to the top 2 of the strongest compositions at this time.

The strength of the Gang composition lies in champions like Darius or Zyra, Twisted Fate, who can effectively defend health. In the mid and late game, players will add Shaco, Braum, and Akali to enhance the strength of the Gang – Assassin composition. Additionally, with the Gang composition activating traits at levels 3/5/7, players will have 3 empty slots, allowing them to add 2 Assassins (Talon, Ekko) to activate the 4 Assassins trait for Shaco and Akali, as well as one Scholar (Janna) to enhance Zyra. This composition currently has a win rate of 59.4% and a top 1 rate of 15.9%.

Chemtech – Brawler Composition
This composition has always maintained its strength since its appearance in TFT Season 6 to now. Chemtech has never been weak, even being easy to combine with other strong compositions. Moreover, Chemtech itself is incredibly strong, especially when supported by Hextech Augments like Chemtech Sacrifice, for example. Each Chemtech unit can always serve as a carry, and with 2 champions Zac – Dr. Mundo, Chemtech also activates the Brawler trait for added durability.

After patch 12.1, which was hardly “touched,” the Chemtech – Brawler composition has thus successfully “held its ground,” remaining in the top 3 strongest compositions in TFT currently. The win rate of this composition is currently 58.6% with a top 1 rate of 13.9%.
