Cultists
To put it bluntly, Cultists is an easy-to-play composition that has incredibly powerful strengths. Thanks to its ability to “cheat numbers” with Galio, Cultists is one of the strongest traits in the early game. Having an early Cultist Emblem will help you secure winning streaks with great ease. Moreover, this composition fits well with the meta, possessing two very strong 3-cost units: Sivir and Kalista. No matter how you play, Cultists remains the optimal choice.

Not stopping there, Galio also serves as a hard counter to the Vanguard – Legend team that is dominating the meta. Essentially, Galio always targets the opponent’s Neeko to charge and deal damage. Therefore, the Cultists composition can effectively lock down the only source of damage from the Vanguard – Legend team. Additionally, not being countered by a specific composition also significantly boosts the strength of the Cultists team.
6 Guardians
The advantage of the Guardians composition is that it does not require players to have high positioning skills. You just need to place the Guardians close together, and they can create shields and become incredibly “tanky”. Even after being nerfed in a few previous patches, the Guardians team still proves to be overwhelmingly strong and helps players secure easy victories in the mid-game. With just a 2-star Kennen unit, a Teamfight Tactics player can already think about long winning streaks.

However, the weakness of the Guardians composition is its lack of explosive damage in the late game. Expensive units like Azir, Ornn, or Aatrox only provide supportive effects and crowd control skills. You must have plenty of damage-boosting items for Xayah to even think about a top 1 position after the match ends. Another solution is to purchase Ornn early and maximize the items that this champion forges.
6 Duelists
It can be said that the Duelists composition is the most stable team comp in Season 4, consistently ranking at the top of the meta. By applying a hyper-roll playstyle, you can have a very strong carry early in the game, Yasuo at 3 stars. Even as you reach the late game, Yasuo doesn’t lose much power due to the 80% lifesteal effect of the 2 Challenger trait, which is incredibly strong. This allows players to easily place in the top 4 with the Duelists composition.

If you are too “unlucky” and cannot upgrade Yasuo to 3 stars, you still have another option with Tryndamere as the carry. This champion can deal incredibly explosive damage with just a 2-star level. Additionally, Lee Sin remains a very strong unit in the late game with the ability to kick enemy champions off the battlefield. In summary, with a lineup of champions capable of dealing strong damage, players can be assured that they will never lack damage when playing the Duelists team.
