Fire Cloak/Sun Cloak
The Fire Cloak has never gone out of style, especially, this item becomes even stronger when in the hands of champions who are both tanky and have healing abilities. Of course, the two names mentioned here that are currently very hot are Hecarim and Gragas.
For Gragas, the champion from the Celestial tribe is a great, cost-effective defensive piece that can trigger the Celestial system to restore health very well. Whether players are focusing on Kha’Zix 3-star Infinity Edge or the meta surrounding Nidalee, Riven, Karma, Gragas is always a very good option. If combined with the Fire Cloak or Sun Cloak, cleaning up quickly with Gragas becomes extremely challenging.

As for Hecarim, this Knight champion was once strong in Season 5 with the Dark Thunder meta, and now it becomes even more powerful when combined in the Vengeance – Knight – Marksman lineup with names like Vayne, Rell, Thresh, Akshan… With good healing ability and quick engagement, if combined with the healing from the Sun Cloak, Hecarim is like a mobile fortress. And of course, a significant benefit of the Fire Cloak/Sun Cloak is the ability to apply Burn effect and reduce the enemy’s healing – extremely important factors in the current meta when many champions possess very annoying healing abilities like Nocturne, Celestial tribe, Draven Bloodthirster, Legion.
Dragon Claw/Divine Claw
For playstyles that rely on main damage dealers with true damage like now (Yasuo, Vayne, Aphelios…), an item like Dragon Claw/Divine Claw unexpectedly becomes hot. In fact, this is considered the best counter item against metas surrounding Vayne and Yasuo, and is an essential item for frontline defenders, especially Knights like Kled, Hecarim, Rell, Sejuani.
Besides the magic resistance and true damage, Dragon Claw/Divine Claw also has the effect of dealing damage to champions that deal that type of damage. This means that fragile names like Vayne, Karma can be completely countered or at least reduced in effectiveness, making them easier to eliminate when the opponent possesses this item for their defensive piece.

Trap Claw/Divine Trap
Another item that has suddenly become hot due to recent metas is the Trap Claw/Divine Trap. In a meta filled with crowd control, especially the dominance of the current Thresh champion, this item is something every player must build to ensure their main damage dealer is maximally protected, avoiding being hit by a Death Sentence from Thresh and getting “deleted” too early or unable to deal necessary damage.
With this item, whether it’s the regular version or the Light version, it effectively reduces about 50% of Thresh’s power on the opposing side. It’s no wonder that the Trap Claw is currently ranked at tier S, with a 17.1% win rate and a 27.2% usage rate in matches at Teamfight Tactics, as of now.
