Rell
Not just any name, Rell is one of the hottest picks in Teamfight Tactics season 5 and 5.5, especially at this moment. With the Celestial – Armored – Knight traits, Rell guarantees solidity for players’ defenses, especially in the late game.
Rell’s skill creates a shield for all allies for 4 seconds while also applying crowd control effects to nearby enemies. In the late game, when main damage dealers typically have high damage, 4 seconds is more than enough to secure victory. Moreover, Rell also has the Armored trait that provides shields for the whole team, the Knight trait that blocks damage, and the Celestial trait that enhances skill power, generating additional shields and magic resistance.

Garen

Gwen

Especially, even at 1 star, Gwen can contribute significantly, even surpassing main damage dealers if equipped with the right items.
