Last week, the summer tournaments and the Regional Qualifiers for the League of Legends World Championship officially concluded. With LNG Esports’ 3-1 victory over Team WE at the Regional Qualifiers in China, the identities of the 22 teams participating in the 2021 World Championship have officially been revealed. The remaining two spots belong to VCS.

Given the current situation, it is nearly 99% certain that LNG will be the final team to secure a spot at the World Championship, and this year’s tournament is expected to feature only 22 teams, similar to the 2020 World Championship. The list of 22 teams participating in the 2021 World Championship up to this point includes:

With the current developments, it can be said that the possibility of Vietnam’s League of Legends being absent from this year’s tournament is almost certain. However, there are still many fans who have not given up hope and are waiting for an official update from Riot Games.
