Mystical Heart
Before Patch 12.14 was released, this was one of the least selected traits in Teamfight Tactics. The reason for this was that at that time, there were too many strong physical damage compositions, so the magic resistance provided by Mystical Heart wasn’t very valuable. Moreover, the competition for Dragonmancer was not too fierce, allowing Nami to pivot easily, leading players to often overlook this trait for other more valuable upgrades.

However, when Patch 12.14 was released, a series of physical damage compositions were nerfed and magic carry champions rose to prominence, making Mystical Heart suddenly very strong. Providing the entire team with a significant amount of magic resistance will help your carries survive against champions like Aurelion Sol, Sona, or Anivia. Additionally, the competition for Dragonmancer has become extremely fierce, so having a free Nami is something incredibly valuable that you should acquire.
Unity
If you’ve noticed, Teamfight Tactics Season 7 has many champions that possess 3 traits – origins. In fact, the number of traits with a low champion activation requirement is also relatively high, making it common for a level 8 composition to have 6-8 traits activated. This makes the Unity trait (which provides attack stats to the entire team based on the number of activated traits) extremely powerful and useful at the moment.

According to the statistics site Metatft.com, the Unity II trait even has the highest average rank position of 3.89. It’s not an exaggeration to say that if you can choose this trait, players will secure a position in the final 4 players and earn ranking points. So if you see the Unity trait appear and your composition can activate many traits at once, pick it immediately. This upgrade will help players build a very strong composition in the late game.
Open Air
After Patch 12.14 was released, we can see that the speed of battles in the first 4 stages has slowed down significantly. The reason is that a series of compositions that pivot frequently to get 3-star champions have been heavily nerfed, and players tend to focus more on the late game. This has made technology traits that provide experience boosts to help players reach level 8 or 9 early extremely powerful.

Among them, we must mention the Open Air trait, as it provides you with 3 free experience points each round if there are no champions on the bench. Simply put, you sacrifice upgrading 1-2 cost champions to 2 stars in exchange for quick level progression. This is a huge advantage because the power of current Dragon champions is extremely superior, and having level 8 before your opponents will help you pivot to these champions much easier.
