Do Mixi and Refund Gaming
First up is streamer Do Mixi and the Refund Gaming team. The year 2021 can be seen as an extremely successful year for this male streamer and the Refund Gaming team as a whole. Shedding the image of a vulgar-speaking streamer, Do Mixi has become increasingly loved for his straightforward yet more restrained manner, along with his incredibly entertaining interactions with his son, Tung Soi.
Of course, we cannot forget Mixi City – a server considered to be the largest and most significant in the Vietnamese GTA V community. Even famous stars in the Vietnamese showbiz like MCK, Ricky Star, Lang LD, B-Ray… are regular members of this “virtual city”.
Additionally, Do Mixi is admired for his charitable heart, always maintaining charitable work to build bridges and schools for children in remote and difficult areas. At the end of 2021, the male streamer also participated in the program “Stars Entering the Army” aired on Vietnam Defense Television, and he was one of the first male streamers to receive this honor.
Teacher Ba and SBTC Esports
Among the famous streamers in Vietnam, we cannot forget Teacher Ba and the SBTC Esports (SE) team. The year 2021 was full of ups and downs for this male streamer who originally was a League of Legends player. The early part of the year was indeed very stormy for Teacher Ba when the performance of SBTC Esports, which he co-owns, did not achieve positive results. Not to mention, team members faced global bans and suspensions, and some disappeared after just one match.
But putting all that aside, this dedicated streamer to League of Legends has still tried to maintain the SE team. By the end of the year, Teacher Ba switched to the Nimo TV platform and quickly became one of the most viewed names on this platform. Although his SE team still faces many difficulties, with his enthusiasm, Teacher Ba and the team are looking forward to the 2022 season with high hopes for a better season.
The “2-member clan” – MisThy and Linh Ngoc Dam
The year 2021 can be seen as a relatively quiet year for the two female streamers MisThy and Linh Ngoc Dam. However, at the beginning of the year, MisThy and her fans had a heart-stopping moment when her nearly 6 million subscriber YouTube channel faced a “freeze” issue, unable to upload videos due to copyright problems. However, after a month of receiving a “suspended sentence”, this YouTube channel returned to normal.
As for Linh Ngoc Dam, the female streamer also marked 2021 in her own unique way. Besides stunning photo shoots and streams sharing about her life, Linh Ngoc Dam also had a tumultuous relationship with her wealthy boyfriend. Fortunately for the female streamer, after the scandals surrounding her, she and her new boyfriend have settled back down. Recently, the female streamer was also announced as a guest for Nimo TV Glory Night. The appearance of the “2-member clan” is surely highly anticipated by the fans of the two most famous female streamers in Vietnam.
Streamer Dung CT
Finally, we have a familiar name for many generations of gamers: Streamer Dung CT, along with the Live Game channel and the famous Team Dut group. Perhaps the name Dung CT is no stranger to anyone who plays games, both online and offline. His Live Game channel is also one of the most subscribed YouTube gaming channels in Vietnam.
Earlier in 2021, the God of Trùng, developed by DUT Studio of Dung CT, received much positive feedback from the gaming community. Even other famous KOLs were attracted by God of Trùng. Some gamers even recreated the trailer of God of Trùng in Minecraft, enough to prove the undeniable appeal of Dung CT and his brainchild.
In early December, Dung CT and Live Game “moved house” to Nimo TV, the most professional and successful livestream platform in Vietnam at the moment.
