In TFT Season 6, alongside new features such as the introduction of completely new traits and the Tech Orbs, some champions also impress players with unprecedented mechanics. Notably among these is Tahm Kench – the 5-cost champion from the Brawler – Defender – Devourer traits.

The Devourer trait of Tahm Kench is what makes this champion special in terms of its power-up mechanics. Specifically, Tahm Kench can self-upgrade by devouring allied champions. Each type of champion provides Tahm Kench with different strengths. For example, with Brawler or Giant champions, Tahm Kench gains health, and when devouring a 3-star Braum, Tahm Kench gains nearly 10k armor… This unique feature has gamers thoroughly intrigued.

Recently, a Vietnamese player experimented with Tahm Kench devouring a 3-star Dr. Mundo and discovered that Tahm Kench’s health bar even changed to black due to the excessive amount of health that the regular health bar could not display. According to the clip’s owner, Tahm Kench reached a staggering 115740 health at that moment. Additionally, if Tahm Kench is positioned alone, combined with a Hextech Gunblade, Thornmail, and Dragon Claw as shown in the clip, Tahm Kench can single-handedly take down an opponent’s team at level 8 (8 champions).
With the new mechanics, Tahm Kench can increase its power limitlessly, as long as it has not reached the final match. To nerf this champion along with the Devourer mechanic, Riot has set a rule where Tahm Kench can only devour once per round and may only swallow one champion at a time.
It is evident that Season 6, with its unique and strange mechanics continuously being discovered and experimented with by players, is a key factor in making TFT Season 6 truly captivating and considered one of the most exciting seasons in TFT history.
