Showmatch Tournament but Predicting the Fate of LCK and T1
Recently, the series of showmatch games featuring teams comprised of players in the same role concluded with a victory for the Mid Lane team, which gathered many superstars like Faker, Chovy, ShowMaker, Bdd, and perhaps VicLa being the least known. This was merely a pre-season warm-up series, but it attracted significant attention from many viewers and sparked various opinions.

Despite gathering 5 players, of which 3/5 members had never played on the same team together (except for Faker and Chovy), the Mid Lane lineup operated incredibly smoothly. Notably, in the final match against the Top Lane team, all 5 members coordinated their moves as if they had been teammates for a long time.

According to many evaluations from both the audience and experts, the role of the Mid Lane, especially that of a leader, remains crucial. In teams like Top Lane, ADC, or Jungle, they lack a true leader accustomed to directing. Meanwhile, the Support role tends to focus more on “having fun.”
Additionally, Faker’s leadership role (the captain of the Mid Lane team) continues to be effective, even though his teammates are all top-tier superstars with strong egos. Of course, a fun showmatch is unlikely to fully showcase Faker’s qualities. However, coupled with T1’s recent achievements, these are clear evidence of the G.O.A.T’s leadership ability.

T1 This Season Could Be Very Strong
T1’s playstyle is almost certain to be diversified as Doran can play any matchup against opponents. Coupled with the wide champion pool of the Bot Lane duo and Oner’s increasingly stable performance, Faker may have some relief.

Other opponents will also be very strong, but clearly, T1 has solid grounds for confidence. Moreover, the changes in the format of this year’s LCK tournaments could contribute to making matches even more intense and highly anticipated.
