Recently, Riot announced a mechanism called the Hall of Fame for professional League of Legends players. Similar to many other sports, the Hall of Fame in League of Legends aims to honor outstanding individuals or teams who have contributed to the history of the professional League of Legends scene since official tournaments began. This can be seen as a timely addition from Riot, especially as professional League of Legends prepares to enter its 14th year.
Among all the players nominated and in the minds of fans, it is likely that everyone agrees: Faker will be the first and most deserving player to be included in the upcoming Hall of Fame when this system officially launches. According to recent reports from South Korean media: “There will be a unique skin for each player featured in the Hall of Fame”. Immediately, many opinions began circulating around this matter, with many believing that this confirmation subtly implies that Faker will have an Ahri skin honored in the Hall of Fame.

Besides Faker, fans are also speculating which other players might have the honor of receiving Riot’s honor skins. Throughout the history of League of Legends, many players have made their names with champions that are synonymous with them. In fact, when mentioning these players, people immediately think of their champions and vice versa. The names listed include Uzi (Vayne), MadLife (Thresh/Blitzcrank), and InSec (Lee Sin).

These names may not use these champions as proficiently as one-trick ponies, but undoubtedly, thanks to them, those champions have reached new heights. For example, InSec’s combo with Lee Sin is a requirement for anyone wanting to excel as the Blind Monk, or just pulling off a “mind hack” will make any player compare themselves to the legend MadLife.

Many more names will also be included in Riot’s Hall of Fame once this system launches. And at this moment, many fans are likely looking forward to seeing how Riot will conduct the voting for legendary players eligible to enter the Hall of Fame.
