Just a few minutes ago, the draw ceremony for the group stage of the 2021 League of Legends World Championship took place, and as fans expected, the results brought many exciting matchups right from the first days of competition.
With both LPL and LCK having 4 representatives participating in this year’s Worlds, the tournament held in Iceland promises to be an “expanded China-Korea showdown”. And right from the Play-In stage, we have an intriguing matchup between two former teammates from Griffin – Chovy (HLE) and Tarzan (LNG).
Play-In Stage – Initial Round

Group Stage:
10 teams divided into 2 groups, with 5 teams in each group.
The top 2 teams from each group will advance directly to the Main Event group stage.
The bottom 2 teams will be eliminated.
The teams ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in each group will enter the Knock-out stage for the last 2 spots in the group stage.
