Damage has always been a crucial factor in League of Legends as it’s the main tool for taking down opponents, securing objectives, and ultimately winning. However, in recent years, players have been voicing their concerns over the damage output in League of Legends, which has become excessively unbalanced and out of control. In a game where tank champions can also “one shot” opponents, it’s clear that League of Legends is facing a serious issue.

This issue has now evolved into a new meme as players have recently discovered that Rek’Sai can “one shot” everything with just a few simple abilities. Even objectives like Dragons or Barons can be taken down by Rek’Sai with just a “light touch” from a basic attack or by “emerging” with the W ability. This also applies to enemy champions, as Rek’Sai can leave opponents with almost no health in a very short time.
The puzzling part is that Rek’Sai in the above video has only completed one major item, which is a tank item called Turbocharged Hexperiment. Even with just a jungle item, Rek’Sai can still “one shot” enemy champions. Therefore, the ability to “one shot” everything as shown in the video is certainly due to a damage calculation error or some stat issue within League of Legends.
The humorous aspect is that in the post-game damage statistics, all of Rek’Sai’s absurd damage somehow transferred over to Tahm Kench and Miss Fortune. Thus, we have uncovered another bug in how damage is recorded and displayed after matches. It’s not an exaggeration to say this is a case of “bugs upon bugs” from League of Legends and Riot Games.

This is indeed a severe bug that makes Rek’Sai an absurdly strong champion at this time. We haven’t even figured out why this bug occurred, so there’s no countermeasure in place. Hopefully, Riot Games will soon recognize this issue and fix it as quickly as possible; in the meantime, it’s advisable to ban Rek’Sai whenever playing ranked to avoid encountering this annoying bug.
