In recent days, most of the attention from the League of Legends community has been focused on the ongoing Spring tournaments, such as the LPL. Alongside this, there are ongoing debates about how KeSPA will select the Korean national team for the upcoming 2022 Asiad in League of Legends. On the afternoon of April 14, KeSPA released a list of 10 names for the final selection for the Asian Games in Hangzhou.

However, that does not mean the transfer market is being overlooked. Specifically, right after the conclusion of the LCK Spring 2022, a plethora of information about Nuguri emerged across various media outlets, as well as being discussed by individuals connected to the former FunPlus Phoenix star. While Doinb continually asserted that Nuguri “has no better destination than DWG KIA,” the Korean media, in a recent article about “Nuguri,” also confirmed that he would join DK. However, both DK and Nuguri had not confirmed anything.

Recently, a new development that can be seen as a confirmation regarding Nuguri came from within DK. Specifically, on the evening of April 14 (Vietnam time), Nuclear – a former DK star and currently a streamer for the organization – chatted with Nuguri while livestreaming. Specifically, Nuclear unexpectedly messaged Nuguri saying: “Ha-gwon (Nuguri’s real name), I’m glad to see you at DK. Make sure to do your best this Summer.” In response, Nuguri also thanked his senior.

Thus, it is no longer mere speculation; according to Nuclear, it is possible that Nuguri is already at the DK gaming house. Currently, this deal may be waiting for the right moment to be publicly announced to the League of Legends community. Previously, when the Korean media confirmed Nuguri’s return, the LCK community was very excited and looked forward to the T1 – DK matchup. It is predicted that the clash between the two top laners, considered the best in LCK right now, will determine the outcome of this match, which is always regarded as a “Classic Encounter.”
