The match in the second round of the LCK Spring 2020 playoffs between T1 and DragonX ended with a resounding victory for “Chairman” Faker and his teammates. Despite entering this round with a fierce desire to win, Chovy and Deft once again had to “bow down” to their long-time rival – Faker.
The most notable highlight of this match was perhaps the “anti-ADC” playstyle from both teams, while DragonX remained loyal to mage picks like Viktor or Ziggs for Deft in the bottom lane, the “farming machine” Teddy was… not allowed to farm when he picked Senna as a support champion in games 2 and 3.
With this unconventional playstyle, the brightest stars of the match were actually the lesser-known names. Canna and Effort were the two most impressive players on T1, helping the team establish an extremely dominant position against DragonX in 3 out of 4 games.

Winning the match 3-1, T1 will officially advance to the LCK Spring 2020 finals taking place at 3 PM on Saturday, April 25, and their opponent will be none other than Gen.G Esports – a team that has suffered 3 defeats to T1 in the first half of 2020.
This is also Faker’s 9th LCK final appearance, having won 7 out of his previous 8 appearances, losing only one final in the Summer of 2017 against LongZhu Gaming, which is the current DragonX.

Meanwhile, for DragonX, reaching the top 3 overall in the LCK Spring 2020 can be seen as a very encouraging achievement. However, experiencing defeat has never been easy, especially for Deft – their captain. Since winning the LCK Summer 2018 title, Deft has not been able to secure another title in Korea, and perhaps this veteran marksman will have to wait quite a while longer for the young stars of DragonX to be able to compete on equal footing with T1 or Gen.G.
