Keria shares noteworthy insights about Smash and Gumayusi in the T1 drama
Perhaps at this moment, every move T1 makes attracts attention. Recently, this team had a very tough win against Nongshim RedForce. It can be said that this was yet another disappointing match for Smash – the player who replaced Gumayusi. And it was Keria – a player very close to Gumayusi who now has to adjust his playstyle because of Smash, who shared noteworthy thoughts about the two teammates after the match.

Accordingly, Keria unexpectedly stated that Smash has not had enough practice time with the team to make any claims because he was suddenly put in to replace Gumayusi. Keria said: “Since Smash was suddenly brought in to replace Gumayusi, we still haven’t had enough necessary practice time.” Notably, Keria and Smash played together for most of the recent LCK Cup.
The information from Keria surprised many viewers and sparked further controversy. The revelations from Keria once again contradict the claims made by the coaching staff. Everyone knows that it was the T1 coaching staff who asserted that the choice of starting player was based on scrim results. However, one player was unable to scrim (Gumayusi), while the other had not had enough scrim time with the new teammates but was brought in to play (Smash).

T1 May Face a Disaster of a Season
Based on what has been demonstrated so far, in terms of professionalism, it is clear that T1 cannot meet expectations if their position is that of a championship contender and a spot for international tournaments. The weak loss to HLE last week is evidence that: T1 can currently be considered at most top 3, as they have yet to face Dplus KIA.
And if they are top 3, then the spot for MSI 2025 is very far out of reach for T1 players. The match against DK next week could somewhat determine T1’s position in the upcoming World Championship, even though they are still the reigning champions.
