T1’s victory over Dplus KIA essentially doesn’t invite much discussion because since their peak years of 2020 – 2021, DK has not been a match for T1 after the departure of several key players. Even though there have been many quality roster additions, the best DK could do was to pose some challenges to T1. Additionally, DK’s head-to-head record against T1 only improved when Faker was absent. Now that the results are not that crucial, analyses surrounding T1’s champion picks are more noteworthy, as in this match, T1 used 17 different champions – a quite impressive number.
In reality, many of T1’s choices in this match were quite surprising, such as Nilah in the bot lane being used once again and Zilean in Keria’s hands. However, the most notable choice was Keria’s selection of Alistar in the deciding game.
