Riot Takes New Steps to “Serve” the LoL Community
In mid-2024, Riot introduced one of the most expensive skin lines in the LoL scene. This is the Hall of Legends skin line, and the first player to be honored is Faker. The value of this skin line, when converted to Vietnamese currency, reaches over 5 million VND – a concerning figure considering most gamers are still students.

With such a high price, many gamers expressed their disappointment with Riot’s “money-grabbing” tactics. However, recently, this publisher has made a quiet update to its skin line. Specifically, according to a dedicated site authorized by Riot to release information about skins, they have updated the fifth World Championship trophy onto Faker’s Ahri skin.

These details will be updated with version 15.2. However, this site has not yet disclosed what the effects of the fifth trophy will be.
The LoL Community is Also Thrilled
On many forums, numerous gamers have expressed surprise at how Riot pays attention to the small details of a skin line that is limited and has nearly lost its profitability. However, this also indicates that the HoL skin is proving its value in line with the money gamers spend, as well as Riot’s promise of a “one-of-a-kind” skin line.
However, there are also questions about how Riot can add new details for active players like Faker, but what will happen if the player has retired is still unclear. Among the legends who might own HoL skins, only Faker continues to compete tirelessly and could potentially earn more titles.

– It’s great that they pay attention to such small details. Not many skins today can achieve that.
– They should also add Faker’s signature to higher-tier skins because the Epic line has it but the higher-tier skins do not.
– I didn’t think they would do this. A like for Riot.
But still, this move is a smart play by Riot. It not only makes gamers who already own HoL skins feel happy, but future HoL skins will also be received more positively.
