Summer not only brings warm weather but also signals an important university admission season for 12th-grade students preparing to start their journey. For these young men and women who have just turned 18, the prospect of taking university entrance exams or, more broadly, stepping out from the protective embrace of high school is incredibly daunting. Therefore, it’s completely understandable that they reach out to older peers for advice.

However, whether due to an overwhelming passion for the Harry Potter series or just a playful nature, a gamer recently had the entire community in stitches with his outrageous way of seeking advice. Specifically, this guy asked very innocent questions like “As a Muggle, can I compete in the Defense Against the Dark Arts department?” or “Between Civil Engineering University and Hogwarts School of Witchcraft, which one should I choose?”
What makes this even funnier is that he flaunted his Application Form, which candidates must fill out when registering for university entrance exams. It even included the name of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft, and he specifically wanted to enter the Defense Against the Dark Arts department.

Although it’s clear that this young candidate is joking, the gaming community didn’t let that diminish the entertainment value of his prank. Some even chimed in with serious advice, as if they were coming straight from Hogwarts itself. Additionally, there were a few opinions suggesting that he should be removed from the group to focus on studying for the university entrance exam.

Perhaps this young gamer just wanted to lighten the atmosphere of his university exam preparations a bit. Hopefully, this young candidate will remain focused while studying and during the exams, and not get so caught up in Harry Potter that he writes some spells on his exam paper, or that would be disastrous.
