A few weeks ago, when Team Flash announced that they had secured Kim “Profit” Jun-hyung’s signature, it caused a stir among gamers both inside and outside Vietnam. He is the first foreign player, and even more notably, a Korean, in VCS, and this opens up many new possibilities for the number one League of Legends tournament in Vietnam, even if he cannot compete in VCS in the summer of 2020.

Currently, Profit is still active as a streamer and YouTuber under Team Flash, and according to what he shared earlier, he is also an assistant coach for this team. However, many people still question why he suddenly moved to Vietnam and decided to stay in our country.

In his latest vlog, a “boyfriend, girlfriend talk” type of clip popular on YouTube, Profit shared about this issue. When asked why he came to Vietnam, Profit explained that there are two main reasons he chose to stay – “One is because of the food, I really love eating. The food in Vietnam is both delicious and cheap, so I really like it.” Another reason that might keep Profit in Vietnam for a long time is his girlfriend – Diễm.
“Another important reason for me to stay in Vietnam is because Diễm is here,” when mentioning this, a small text appeared in the clip further explaining that in 2-3 years, Profit will have to go to military service in Korea, so he wants to spend this time beside his girlfriend. It’s not an exaggeration to say that Vietnamese culture and people have attracted and kept the Korean boy, Profit, here.

The question that many gamers ask Profit is, of course, when he will be able to compete in VCS. Explaining this issue, Profit said that VCS still does not have regulations regarding foreign players competing, however, by next year, in 2021, it is very likely that he will be able to play in Vietnam’s number one tournament.

Not only are there noteworthy points above, but Profit’s vlog also reveals many interesting details about his life and his girlfriend. It’s hard to believe that Profit and his girlfriend Diễm have been in a long-distance relationship since he was competing in the LEC, and as of now, their Korean-Vietnamese love story has lasted for 2 years.
Hope that Profit will soon return to the competitive scene and bring exciting and interesting moments to VCS.
