Even T1 themselves do not place much hope in attending MSI 2025
Before the match between HLE and T1 began, perhaps only the most optimistic fans who believed in the miracles in Faker’s hands and his teammates would think that T1 would win. Even with 2 of the LCK casters placing their trust in T1, a score of 3-0 for the reigning World Champion still seemed hard to believe. Recently, fans discovered that even within T1, they did not think they could reach Vancouver when facing HLE.

Accordingly, many fans have noticed that T1 has not prepared any content for the team at MSI 2025. The newly announced black and white uniforms seem to be the only fresh element. Even on the T1 Shop page, it only announces that the second outfit of T1 (black and red jacket) will be sold as the MSI 2025 outfit and for the remainder of the season.
Additionally, the poster announcing T1’s arrival at MSI 2025 seems to have been handled quite hastily as viewers noticed several odd details about the players’ bodies. Compared to MSI 2024, it is clear that T1 has not prepared thoroughly. Last Spring, T1 even released a series of kits, new uniforms, and polished posters right from the time the finals against Gen.G hadn’t even started.

But this time, we can empathize with T1
Nevertheless, T1’s oversight this time is understandable. Compared to what they have shown from the LCK Cup 2025 until before the victory over HLE, T1 can be said to be underestimated compared to the “Orange House”. Not to mention, HLE made Gen.G struggle, while T1 was even overtaken by KT after the first game. The disparity in team quality is too large and to this day, no one understands why HLE collapsed so quickly.

T1’s victory is hard to believe but reasonable when looking at the performances of both teams. But perhaps it is true that when T1 is underestimated to the bottom, they only then awaken back to their true level and form.
