HLE Star Faces Sad Milestone in Career After Loss to T1
The loss of HLE may have shocked the audience, but for the players, the shock was likely much heavier. Since establishing a new roster with the addition of Zeus, T1 had never faced a stable game against HLE. In fact, during the Regular Seasons in Rounds 1-2, T1 suffered severe defeats. And it was Zeus who, in the loss to T1, marked a sad milestone in his career: He officially missed his first international tournament of League of Legends since debuting.

It can be said that Zeus has an impressive record for a player who just turned 21 this year. Since officially debuting with the ZOFGK roster, Zeus has never missed any international tournament, and his worst achievement was a top 3 finish (MSI 2023 and 2024). Furthermore, Zeus is also the youngest player in League of Legends history to win 2 consecutive World Championships at ages 19 and 20 – an achievement that even Faker could not accomplish.
At the same time, Zeus also “balances” this sad milestone with his old OFGK roster from last year. At the beginning of the season, the other 4 members of the ZOFGK roster were absent from the First Stand 2025. Although it was just a preliminary tournament organized by Riot, it was also the first international tournament that this roster could not join since the players Oner, Gumayusi, and Keria secured their official positions.

But HLE and T1 may still face each other in all remaining international tournaments this year
On the other hand, although absent from MSI 2025, with their confirmed participation in EWC 2025, along with their current strength, HLE may participate in the upcoming World Championship. If this happens, HLE will likely have many more encounters besides their LCK matchups.

When that time comes, Zeus’s performances will surely draw the most attention. Especially since he did not perform well, if not to say he was lackluster, in the disastrous loss against his former team.
