CFO Star Reveals About GAM and T1
In the past week of the professional League of Legends scene, there have been numerous shocks for the community. Alongside the outstanding performances of various teams, it cannot be overlooked that both GAM and T1 – two “giants” of the LCK, surprisingly fell to opponents that were clearly rated lower. However, recently, a detail from LCP has emerged related to the defeats of these two teams.
GAM lost to TSW.
According to Kaiwing – Support of CFO, before the recent week of matches took place, CFO had scrim schedules with both GAM and T1. He also expressed confusion as to why both top LCK teams that practiced with his team lost to opponents they had defeated multiple times in the LCK, resulting in them falling into the lower bracket. Kaiwing admitted: “They lost 0-3, but it’s not our fault, right?”.
Kaiwing said CFO scrimmed with both T1 and GAM.
The Real Reason Behind the Defeat Lies with T1 and GAM’s Own Mistakes
It is clear from the two 0-3 losses of these two teams that the players’ poor performance compared to their opponents was the main reason. Many viewers admitted that while watching T1 play, it felt like Doran and Gumayusi were the only ones truly putting in effort. Meanwhile, GAM has been an inconsistent team this season, failing to provide fans with a sense of security. In contrast, TSW appeared to be more determined than ever.
T1 still has a chance.
However, while T1 still has a chance to determine their own season, GAM has been eliminated from the World Championship, marking the end of the 2025 season for this team. Nevertheless, both T1 and GAM must reflect on their defeats and correct their mistakes. As opponents grow stronger, simply remaining stagnant is no different than regressing, not to mention that these teams have performed worse than their own levels in the previous mid-season stages.
