Doran Opens Up About T1’s Past Achievements
As a top-tier player in the global League of Legends scene, Doran has participated in several international tournaments throughout his career. However, he has never reached the finals of an MSI or World Championship. Recently, during a stream, Doran shared his thoughts on witnessing T1 successfully defend their championship title at the recently concluded World Championship 2024.

Doran stated: “I usually don’t watch the finals of the World Championship because I always get eliminated early. You can imagine how that feels. But this year, I watched the World Championship 2024 finals. And I realized they (T1) are really different. And I thought, ‘Are they champions again?’. But now, I am a member of T1.”
Doran expressed surprise at T1’s historic achievement. He acknowledged the pressure but affirmed, “I will try to adapt with my new teammates to bring the best results for the team.”
Doran Could Be the Right Fit for T1
Doran’s playstyle is versatile, allowing him to perform effectively with any champion. In 2024, he has often shown dominance against his predecessor Zeus.
Notably, Doran is one of the few top laners who operates well with the champion Twisted Fate in the top lane, boasting a 100% win rate after 4 games. In the third match against T1 during the LCK Summer playoffs, Doran didn’t die even once, achieving a perfect KDA of 7/0/14.

Doran himself is not the type of player who always needs resources. Therefore, T1 can flexibly adjust their strategies according to each opponent. It’s important to remember that at this moment, Doran is still the reigning champion of the LCK, and that title is certainly not easily attained.
