TES Faces “Major Setback” Before the New Season
As of now, the transfer activities of top teams in the LPL are basically nearing completion. Many teams are just waiting to announce their official rosters for the upcoming 2025 season to enter the training phase. However, in the case of TES, they are experiencing significant trouble in completing their roster and announcing it to the audience. As a result, they have only announced one new member, Crisp, in the support position.

According to a manager from TES, the two new Korean members that the team has reached an agreement to sign are currently unable to join the team. The reason is that they are experiencing delays in obtaining their visas, which prevents them from traveling to the LPL region. This situation significantly impacts TES’s roster announcement process as they have a tradition of taking photos with new players directly at their headquarters. Moreover, this late gathering could also complicate TES’s preseason preparations, as the entire team cannot practice together at this moment.

TES Fans Celebrate Despite Team’s Troubles
Interestingly, after the information about the visa delays for the new members was revealed, TES fans seemed extremely delighted. The reason stems from the fact that the Korean members about to join this team are believed to be of very high quality and will help TES compete for titles. Specifically, according to multiple sources, the two mentioned Korean members are Kanavi and coach Homme. This was further confirmed when TES’s official Weibo account recently followed these two along with the newly signed member, Crisp.

Indeed, after a series of star junglers like Xun, Wei, Jiejie, Tarzan all found new teams or Tian recently left, Kanavi is seen as a very high-quality choice. This player has extensive experience in the LPL and can help elevate TES’s solo laners like Creme and 369. Meanwhile, coach Homme is also a very high-quality name, having previously helped JDG win two LPL seasons and the MSI title in 2023.

Fairly speaking, TES’s 2024 season is seen as quite disappointing as they ended up empty-handed without winning any titles. Notably, TES came very close to winning the Spring 2024 LPL championship but lacked the resolve to overcome BLG. Hopefully, with the extensive experience and cunning of Kanavi and Homme, TES will be more resilient in important matches to compete for the LPL title or even international championships in the future.
