Former World Champion Faces Debt Demands from His Current Team After Getting Involved in Transfer Drama
As of now, the transfer market across all regions worldwide is nearing its end. However, in LPL, many teams have yet to announce their new season rosters. Notably, both local and global audiences are focused on a new transfer drama involving LNG Esports and Scout’s representatives.

During a stream with Zhu Kai (former RNG coach and Scout’s former mentor at EDG), LNG’s former manager, Zuo Wu, publicly requested that Scout pay off debts. However, previously, Supergent claimed they had negotiated with LNG beforehand. And since LNG did not agree to the terms, they turned to JDG.
This situation is leaving LPL fans unsure of whom to trust. As mentioned before, Supergent (Scout’s representative) is said to have worked with both teams, LNG and JDG, simultaneously. The goal was to use one team’s offer to pressure the other in contract negotiations.

Notably, Supergent represents both Scout and Peyz – two players that LNG is very eager to include in their roster for the upcoming season. After the failed negotiations with LNG, Supergent moved both of their stars to JDG, leaving “Suzhou Unicorns” without any quality names. The reason is that they previously used Scout and Peyz to negotiate the recruitment of Tian – Hang.
Currently, neither LNG nor Scout nor JDG has officially announced their lineup, so Scout remains under the ownership of LNG.
A “Super Team” Emerges Amidst the Drama-Filled Transfer Window
In a recent development, Invictus Gaming is said to have successfully recruited coach Daeny. The former coach of Weibo Gaming contributed to Damwon Gaming’s victory at the 2020 World Championship. During his coaching period at WBG, he also helped the team become the runner-up at the 2023 World Championship and finished 3rd-4th at the 2024 World Championship.

Coach Daeny’s intense and unpredictable coaching style is highly regarded. Many believe that next season, IG could be one of the contenders for the LPL championship, as well as in the international tournaments they participate in.
