Coach CvMax of DK continues to be a topic of controversy.
As we know, recently, DK lost to BNK with a surprisingly lopsided score of 0-3, ending their journey in the LCK Cup 2026 and also losing the chance to participate in the upcoming First Stand in Brazil. However, it’s not just the performance of the players that has come under scrutiny, but even DK’s coaching staff has become a target for the League of Legends community. In that loss to BNK, Coach CvMax still had some intense moments of criticism towards the players.

Notably, during that moment, player Career was the one facing the most direct criticism. His face showed both tension and confusion, but unlike before, he did not shed tears this time. However, according to many audience opinions, CvMax’s criticism seems to be crossing the line from “necessary strictness” to “toxic behavior.”
– Is there anyone still defending this behavior? Other coaches don’t do this regularly either. The coach of BNK hasn’t done anything like that.
– Many people say “that’s how sports are” but looking at Career’s face, he doesn’t seem to be doing well.
– Someone needs to give Coach CvMax some advice, but I’m still very curious about what he said to the players.
But perhaps no one fits with DK more than CvMax does right now.
In reality, it is this very personality of Coach CvMax that has often led to internal dramas at the teams he has coached. However, no one can deny that Coach CvMax has discovered and nurtured many current superstars in the professional League of Legends scene, and those players have all achieved various accolades in their careers.

Therefore, in some respects, Coach CvMax still needs more time to continue guiding DK’s young players. And as long as DK doesn’t feel troubled, perhaps the League of Legends community should just wait for the results in the future.
