Since the official launch of League of Legends (LoL) to gamers worldwide, the number of skins for champions has rapidly increased. From the simple designs of early skins to the more visually appealing and polished versions we see today. Skins are also an important factor in attracting players to LoL.

However, throughout the history of LoL’s development, there have been quite a few skins considered to “help” players secure victories, commonly referred to by the community as “pay-to-win” skins. Of course, some of these skins have been adjusted, but many others have been overlooked by Riot Games. Recently, the Space Groove Blitzcrank skin was discovered by the community to potentially be “pay-to-win” as well.

According to players, when Blitzcrank uses this skin, there is an effect where he extends his left hand forward, mimicking the exact motion of using his Rocket Grab ability. This can easily mislead opponents into thinking Blitzcrank is using his grab, prompting them to Flash, use Zhonya’s Hourglass, or simply fall out of rhythm in their plays. In reality, Blitzcrank will grab with his right hand, while the left hand extending is merely an animation effect.
When the video was uploaded to LoL community forums, it sparked considerable debate about its authenticity. Some argued that this is indeed an effect that can easily bait opponents into using Flash or Zhonya’s, while others claimed it might just be staged. In the video, sometimes the opponents with full health intentionally press Zhonya’s when the effect from Blitzcrank appears.

However, whether the video is real or staged, it cannot be denied that the movement effect of the Space Groove skin for Blitzcrank is quite interesting. For players lacking experience or calmness, it is entirely possible to lose important summoner spells or items because of this effect.
