Last Sunday, the 8th week of LCK Summer 2022 officially concluded with reasonable results as the stronger teams secured victories. Among them was T1’s 2-1 win over NS, highlighted by an outstanding performance from Faker. Therefore, it’s no surprise that Faker earned 2 MVP points after this match.

Fairly speaking, NS played very well in that match, especially in game 2 when they capitalized on T1’s mistakes. However, that was not enough to stop T1 from winning, as NS’s main explosive player – Bdd in the Mid Lane faced too much pressure from Faker. After this victory, T1’s “Chairman” Faker appeared very confident as he looked forward to a flawless result in the final week of matches.
Question: After losing game 2, you came back strong and won the match. Can you elaborate on Zac Top Lane?
T1 Faker: I don’t remember the details, but Zeus said he was confident in this pick as he had played it a lot in solo queue. We also needed a champion that could initiate fights from a distance and survive long in combat, so Zac was a good choice.
Question: Next week you will face relatively strong teams like DK and LSB, are you confident in defeating them?
T1 Faker: There is a very high chance we will have to face these two teams in the qualifiers. As for DK, they are showing many instabilities, so whether in the group stage or the qualifiers, we will still defeat them with a score of 2-0.

Indeed, in this 2022 season, DK is facing quite a few personnel issues and the performance of their players has not been as desired. New names like Deokdam and Kellin are performing below average. In fact, Kellin was even replaced by another young player from DK, Bibble, in the last week of matches.

As for the veterans, Canyon and ShowMaker have not displayed the dominant form of previous years. Remember that currently, the ADC plays a crucial role in determining victory. However, this is the weakest position for DK, so this team is facing a lot of difficulties in finding wins. Therefore, it wouldn’t be surprising if T1 defeats DK in the final week of LCK Summer 2022.
