Silent Cloak
After a series of recent adjustments, Teamfight Tactics has become much more balanced, allowing both Dragon God champions and low-cost carries to shine. However, with the overwhelming power of many 4-5 cost support champions, the strategy of maintaining gold, leveling up consistently, and perfecting your team composition at levels 8-9 still plays a dominant role. This leads to the fact that Silent Cloak is becoming an incredibly important item if you want to secure victory.

The reason for this is quite simple, as many champions with strong crowd control effects, such as Bard, Soraka, Ornn, and Hecarim, have very high maximum energy. Therefore, owning a Silent Cloak will help your team avoid negative effects too early, allowing your carries to deal damage freely. A small tip is to spread your team out so that when the new round starts, you will have plenty of options to equip Silent Cloak to counter your opponents.
Chalice of Power
Since the beginning of Season 6, Chalice of Power has always been one of the most powerful items in Teamfight Tactics due to its stats. Simply put, with one Chalice of Power, you will gain 90 skill damage distributed evenly among 3 champions. This is a huge number compared to the Sorcerer’s Hat, which only provides 75 skill damage but requires the difficult-to-obtain combination of 2 Giant’s Sticks.

The power of this item was only slightly reduced when physical carries became too prominent in version 12.13. However, when version 12.14 was released with a series of adjustments that strengthened magic carries, Chalice of Power immediately returned to its top position. In fact, in some highly competitive servers like South Korea, this item even boasts a win rate of up to 20%. Therefore, the advice is to craft Chalice of Power as soon as possible to ensure victory.
Morello’s Evil Tome
Many past seasons of Teamfight Tactics have proven that versatile items wield tremendous power. The simple reason is that they affect many champions and team compositions rather than targeting a specific subject. Thus, whenever Riot buffs a versatile item, it immediately negatively impacts the overall gameplay. And in version 12.14, Morello’s Evil Tome is exactly such an item.

With the healing reduction effect, dealing damage over time, Morello’s Evil Tome has always been an exceptional item in previous versions. Therefore, when the skill damage it provides was increased to 50 (after reduction to 40 in version 12.14b), this item suddenly became extremely powerful when in the hands of carries. As of now, Morello’s Evil Tome boasts a win rate of 19.3%, an impressively high figure.
