For many gamers, especially those with extreme or toxic attitudes, League of Legends in particular and Esports in general provide a good environment for them to express their toxicity. These individuals are always ready to sabotage games or take actions that negatively affect the experience of other players. Their only goal is to satisfy their own preferences or simply because they disagree with Riot‘s positioning, deciding that “if I can’t play the role I want, then no one should get to play the game”.

Of course, Riot has implemented measures to prevent such behaviors, but all of them seem like… “a drop in the ocean”. In fact, there have been numerous cases where players, when threatened with reports, boldly challenged back. Notably, many players have complained that they reported an account only to find that account still playing the game normally. This demonstrates that Riot’s penalties are not as effective as expected.

Recently, a female streamer was sabotaged by her own teammates. She is Nissaxter – a streamer with a notable viewership in the LEC region. Although her skill level is not particularly high, Nissaxter is one of the few female gamers who climb ranks without solely using Support champions. However, after struggling to reach Platinum, she encountered sabotage in many matches.

For instance, in a recent match where her team was winning, the Zed player (the strongest on her team) continuously stole her minions, leaving the female streamer to solo the Dragon or engage in fights. Notably, not only this player but all three others seemed to join in. Because of teammates like these, shortly after reaching Platinum, the female streamer fell back to Gold 4. In fact, Nissaxter was so upset that she cried live on her stream.

Clearly, the actions of these players are unacceptable. Many of Nissaxter’s viewers condemned the sabotage from her teammates and demanded Riot take immediate action. As for herself, the female streamer has temporarily halted her stream to regain her composure after being continuously bullied in the game she loves.
