Aphelios
With the rise of Samira and Zeri in patch 13.15, Aphelios’ position among physical carry champions has been severely shaken. Therefore, in the latest patch, the Teamfight Tactics development team will significantly buff Aphelios. Firstly, Aphelios’ maximum energy has been reduced by 20 points. Moreover, the damage from his Lunar Blades has been increased at both 1-star and 2-star levels.
These changes promise to help Aphelios, and the Sharpshooter team composition in general, rise strongly in the upcoming patch 13.16. Coupled with Zeri and Samira being heavily nerfed in this patch, Aphelios will have even more opportunities to shine.
Teemo
Initially used as a system-specific champion, Teemo has recently received significant attention from Riot to become a viable carry. In the upcoming patch 13.16, this champion will continue to see a strong increase in skill damage across all levels. Moreover, the mushrooms spawned from Teemo’s Multicast will now prioritize areas with multiple targets.
The aforementioned tweaks will make Teemo’s area damage potential extremely powerful in the upcoming patch. In fact, with another Yordle unit, Kled, also receiving buffs, the Teemo and Noxus composition is expected to become incredibly strong.
Garen
The “spinning blade” Garen playstyle is set to make a strong comeback in patch 13.16 as Garen and supporting units receive beneficial adjustments. For Garen himself, his damage at 1-star and 2-star levels will be significantly increased. Moreover, other Demacian champions like Galio and Sona will also receive substantial boosts in versatility, helping Garen survive and deal damage more effectively in the new patch.
Furthermore, the adjustments to Samira and Lux will indirectly benefit Garen and melee fighters. Essentially, Samira and Lux will no longer have the ability to reduce the target’s armor to negative values starting from the upcoming patch 13.16. Therefore, melee fighters will become sturdier and much harder to take down.
