And if nothing changes, in the event that GAM wins the VCS Spring 2022 championship, it is highly likely that the runner-up team will be chosen to replace the black-and-yellow boys at MSI 2022. Currently, aside from GAM, the other three teams that made it to the playoffs—Saigon Buffalo, CERBERUS Esports, and Team Secret—are all likely candidates to replace GAM at the upcoming Busan event.
