GAM Faces a “Horrific Nightmare” at LCP 2025 Mid Season
Unlike the previous phase, week 5 of the LCP 2025 Mid Season will kick off on Friday (May 16) coming up. On this match day, a real showdown will occur as GAM faces off against MVKE at 19:00. It’s important to note that both teams are in urgent need of points to climb to better positions on the tournament standings, making this match highly intense and exciting.
Not stopping there, GAM will also have to face another “boogeyman” named TLN on Sunday (May 18) at 19:00. This is expected to be a tough match for GAM since they have previously lost all encounters against TLN in both the group stage and playoff during the Kickoff phase, making the historical record favor the former PCS representative. A silver lining for GAM is that TLN has shown signs of declining performance in the recent Mid Season phase, having lost to TSW. This could provide GAM with the foundation to overcome this opponent; otherwise, Levi and his teammates might face a “nightmarish” week with consecutive losses.
As for MVKE, their remaining opponent is a relatively “easier” name, DFM, with the match scheduled for 16:30 on Sunday (May 18). Currently, DFM is in the bottom group of the LCP 2025 Mid Season standings with only 1 win and 3 losses. This makes the upcoming match a clear opportunity for MVKE to accumulate points and seek to improve their position.
The other representative from the former VCS, TSW, seems to have a relatively comfortable week as they only have to play 1 match against the “weaker” opponent SHG. Essentially, SHG has a poor performance record similar to DFM (1 win – 3 losses) and is proving to be a true “point farm” in the tournament. Therefore, it wouldn’t be surprising if TSW manages to defeat SHG in the upcoming match and solidify their position in 2nd place on the LCP Mid Season leaderboard.
