As we know, just a few hours ago, RNG defeated EG with a swift 3-0 score to secure their spot in the MSI 2022 Finals. This match clearly showcased the skill gap between RNG and the NA representative, as they were able to dominate their opponents from the laning phase to team fights. Xiaohu was the standout player for RNG in this match, excelling in his damage-dealing role and initiating fights.

Although they secured a dominant victory, LPL fans were still not entirely satisfied with RNG’s performance. The reason being that in the last two games, RNG exhibited some extremely poor plays in the mid-game, allowing their opponents to gain advantages and even opportunities for victory. For instance, in game three, RNG lost an important Baron to their opponents, which allowed EG to extend the match. If the LCS representative had executed their composition around Miss Fortune better, we might have seen a game four.

Therefore, as mentioned earlier, LPL fans were not too pleased with RNG’s victory. They even subtly reminded the team that their next opponents in the Finals would be T1 or G2, both of whom are formidable names. If RNG continues to “choke” as they did in their match against EG in the upcoming Finals, they will pay a steep price.

Indeed, we must recognize fairly that RNG had a less-than-perfect victory against EG. As mentioned earlier, some members of the LPL representative made quite a few wrong decisions in the last two games, preventing RNG from finishing EG off cleanly. This might serve as a wake-up call for RNG as their opponents in the Finals will be extremely strong, as both T1 and G2 possess high-skilled players who are exceptionally good at exploiting their opponents’ mistakes.
