Keria Reveals the Truth After T1’s Victory
T1’s victory over Dplus KIA essentially doesn’t invite much discussion because since their peak years of 2020 – 2021, DK has not been a match for T1 after the departure of several key players. Even though there have been many quality roster additions, the best DK could do was to pose some challenges to T1. Additionally, DK’s head-to-head record against T1 only improved when Faker was absent. Now that the results are not that crucial, analyses surrounding T1’s champion picks are more noteworthy, as in this match, T1 used 17 different champions – a quite impressive number.

In reality, many of T1’s choices in this match were quite surprising, such as Nilah in the bot lane being used once again and Zilean in Keria’s hands. However, the most notable choice was Keria’s selection of Alistar in the deciding game. In fact, Alistar was a reasonable choice, but T1 had previously performed better with a champion even more effective than Alistar, specifically Bard. But Keria revealed the truth behind his decision not to choose his Worlds skin champion: “Actually, I was also torn between Bard and Alistar. Usually, I would choose Bard. But then I realized that the promotional period for Bard’s Worlds skin had ended. So I could only choose Alistar.”

The Mentality of T1 Players is Recovering
With Keria’s revelation, it can be understood that T1 players are somewhat relieved after their crushing defeat against HLE in the previous match. Furthermore, T1 has shown that they have many noteworthy champion choices that can function well. This will be an advantage for T1 to potentially throw HLE off rhythm in the upcoming rematch.

However, HLE is by no means a weak team, and they may have already studied T1 after their recent match against DK. The match between these two top teams in a must-win situation will require players to focus and perform at their best. It is entirely possible that the match between HLE and T1 will be decided only by breakthrough choices or individual mistakes.
