After 7 days of voting, the Honda City is currently leading the Family Car of the Year category (Under 600 Million VND) with 7,922 votes. This margin is quite close to the second place, which is the VinFast VF 5 (7,709 votes), but significantly ahead of the other three competitors.

The Honda City is a B-segment sedan, measuring 4,553 x 1,748 x 1,467 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,600 mm, offering significantly more interior space than many competitors. The rear seats are comfortable for 2-3 adults with ample legroom, meeting family needs well.
The 1.5L i-VTEC DOHC engine produces 119 horsepower paired with a smooth CVT transmission. The car’s fuel efficiency is approximately 5.6 liters/100 km combined. Notable features include an 8-inch screen supporting CarPlay/Android Auto, automatic air conditioning, rear air vents, an 8-speaker audio system, remote start, and the Honda Sensing safety package with emergency braking, lane keeping, and adaptive cruise control…

Priced between 499-569 million VND, the City is suitable for young families needing a car that serves daily transportation while providing an enjoyable driving experience. In August, the Honda City was also the best-selling B-segment sedan on the market.

Ford Territory – Family Car of the Year (600 Million – 1 Billion VND)
Surpassing many other strong contenders in this voting category such as the Mazda CX-5, Hyundai Tucson, VinFast VF 7, and Toyota Innova Cross, the Ford Territory currently leads with 7,929 votes from users.

The 2025 Ford Territory has 3 versions, priced from 762-896 million VND, is 55 mm longer than before, measuring 4,685 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,726 mm and a ground clearance of 190 mm. These dimensions provide ample space for families while still being easy to maneuver in the city. The trunk capacity is 448 liters, expandable to 1,422 liters, making it suitable for long trips.

Kia Carnival – Family Car of the Year (1-2 Billion VND)
The Kia Carnival is the only MPV in this list. However, it is currently leading the Family Car of the Year category (1-2 Billion VND) with 7,918 votes. This voting category has witnessed a fierce competition between the Kia Carnival and Skoda Kodiaq recently.

The Kia Carnival has 5 versions, priced from 1.299 – 1.849 billion VND. With a genuine seating capacity of 7-8 depending on the version, the last row is spacious enough for adults, making this model directly target large families. The HEV version combines a 1.6L gasoline engine with an electric motor, providing a total output of 242 horsepower, offering fuel savings in the city while delivering smooth operation for daily family travel.

Volkswagen Viloran – Family Car of the Year (2-5 Billion VND)
The Volkswagen Viloran is one of the interesting models that helps revive the image of the German car manufacturer in the Vietnamese market. It is also the largest car in this list, measuring 5,346mm in length, 1,976mm in width, and 1,781mm in height. After 7 days of voting, the Viloran is currently leading with 7,847 votes from users, significantly ahead of the remaining four competitors.

The Viloran’s interior features many amenities that provide a premium experience for passengers. The front seats are 8-way power-adjustable, with 4-way lumbar support, and include heating. The second-row seats are styled like business class, with their own armrest, separate cup holder, USB and Type C charging ports, storage compartments, and a passage in the middle. VinFast VF 3 – GenZ Car of the Year
The “GenZ Car of the Year” category is a special highlight at the Car Choice Awards 2025 as the selection criteria focus on models that are trendy, personalized, rich in technology, and provide exciting experiences for the younger generation.

The “Service Car of the Year” category at the Car Choice Awards 2025 gathers models that meet transportation and passenger service needs, balancing cost, durability, and comfort. This year, the nomination list features 5 familiar names, from gasoline cars to electric vehicles, offering many options for businesses and individuals. With 7,057 votes, the Limo Green is temporarily leading this category.

The VinFast Limo Green is an electric vehicle specifically developed for taxi and urban passenger transport services. The car measures 4,740 × 1,872 × 1,728 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,840 mm, providing more spaciousness than many competitors in the same segment.

The interior of the Limo Green is designed in a minimalist yet modern style, similar to other VinFast models currently on sale. The vehicle features a 10.1-inch central touchscreen, air conditioning vents below, and a control cluster with a rotary gear shift, cup holder, and phone holder. The D-cut three-spoke steering wheel integrates functional buttons, and a dash cam monitoring the interior is a rare highlight in this segment. The third-row seats have full headrests for 3 positions, likely upholstered in fabric. Honda CR-V e:HEV RS – Hybrid Car of the Year
With the trend towards green conversion, the hybrid vehicle segment is gradually receiving more attention from domestic consumers, especially those who are still hesitant about fully electric vehicles (EVs). Therefore, this is also an award category that receives special attention at the Car Choice Awards 2025. Among them, the Lynk & Co 06 is currently receiving the most votes from users with 11,129 votes, many times more than its competitors.

However, this is just the result after one week of voting. To determine the final winning model in each category, the organizers will tally points from two sources: user votes (30%) and evaluations from the expert judging panel (70%). The official results will be announced at the Car Choice Awards gala night on the evening of October 3rd.
