ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND CS ASIA OPEN – the longest-running tournament in the Asia region has returned for CS2 fans in 2024. This regional platform has long been a launching pad for countless Counter Strike talents in Vietnam over the past 8 years.
This year, with an expanded scale, the tournament promises to bring high-level matches and attractive prizes, affirming its position in the Vietnamese eSports scene.

Not only held in the two major cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City as in previous years, the qualifiers for ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND CS ASIA OPEN 2024 will also feature the participation of Da Nang City. Specifically, a total of 6 cyber cafes will participate in organizing the national qualifiers, including:
– Hanoi: Vikings Esports Arena Giải Phóng; GameHome; Loka Esports
– Da Nang: Unicorn Cyber
– Ho Chi Minh City: Vikings Esports Arena Gò Vấp; Dino Star; Galaxy Esport
6 cyber cafes nationwide will accompany the tournament.
In terms of timing, the tournament will take place over 4 days of competition including the Qualifiers (October 5-6) and the Finals (October 12-13). Teams will compete for a total prize pool of 20,000,000 VND for the qualifiers, and most importantly, for the chance to represent Vietnam in the finals in Shanghai in January 2025. The finals in Shanghai are no stranger to the CS2 community in Vietnam, offering a total prize pool of up to $100,000 and gathering the most outstanding and renowned teams in the Asia-Pacific region.
Vietnam’s representative will compete against 15 rivals for $100,000 in Shanghai in January 2025.
The ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND CS ASIA OPEN 2024 will provide players with the best experiences at the moment as all matches will be held on ZOWIE XL2566X+ 400Hz monitors – the latest model from ZOWIE’s X Series.
